Registered Office
Use BC&A's Portsmouth office as your company's official registered address. Available exclusively to BC&A clients, the service protects your privacy, ensures statutory correspondence is handled promptly and keeps your Companies House record looking professional.
Every limited company and LLP in the UK must have a registered office address — the address displayed publicly on the Companies House register and the legal location to which all statutory correspondence is sent. Many business owners prefer not to use their home address or principal trading address for this purpose, whether for reasons of privacy, professionalism or practicality.
BC&A offers a Registered Office service exclusively to existing and new clients who use our accountancy, audit or taxation services. Your company's official address becomes our Portsmouth office, all statutory mail is received and managed by our team, and nothing falls through the cracks.
Using BC&A as your registered office means all official correspondence directed to your company address is received, logged and actioned by our team. This includes corporation tax new company starter notices, filing and payment reminders from HMRC, notices to file company accounts, confirmation statement reminders, Companies House authentication codes and any other statutory or legal notices. As your advisers, we are best placed to receive this correspondence — we understand what it means, we know your compliance position and we act on it without delay.
For new companies and LLPs, you can nominate BC&A's address during the incorporation process. For existing companies, switching is straightforward and involves filing form AD01 with Companies House — a process we handle on your behalf. Once in place, your company name is displayed at our office, your service is activated and an annual fee is invoiced from the date the service commences. The Registered Office service is available to BC&A clients only and is not offered on a standalone basis.
